Creetown Silver Band Junior SectionThe band runs a thriving junior section. The training band meets roughly one evening a month to practise for possibly two concerts in the spring.This group comprises youngsters who receive tuition at the band plus others who are taught by the school instructor. On Mondays and Tuesdays the band holds a learners class for youngsters and adults. tuition is given by the conductor and three other experienced band members. This tuition is free and students are only asked toi pay a band membership fee. Similarly instruments are provided if required.
