Go Baby Go! is NAKED RUBY'S surprisingly well attended club night. We used to do it more or less bimonthly, at the Windmill in Brixton. But now we can't be arsed (5 years is a long time) so these days it's a bit more irregular, & at all manner of venues (although now usually at the Grosvenor). It always features NAKED RUBY, & other bands/acts in support, including in the past such luminaries (off the top of me head) as; gorgeous belly dancer, Ashlie, the good ol' Deptford Beach Babes, (many times!) Cousin Alice the Singin' Cowgirl, the fabulous, Vincent Razorbacks (Vince Ray's band), the Man from Uranus, the Bad Breed, the Felix Moment Power Trio , the Lillettes, The Colt 45, The Stripchords, The Screeches, the McDeath Trio, Bloody Heels & many more!!
Other regular entertainments include;
our GoGo troupe, the LAS VAGUE SHOWGURLS,
our usual DJ's, DJ Webbcore, Lord Muck & Katmandude,
a crappy raffle, you get your ticket free with your door fee & the prizes aren't even always shit!
And all our most glittery glamorous decor & visuals!Every night has a different theme, with an associated dress code, some past ones being, Go wild in the Jungle, the Spaghetti Hoedown Hootenanny, the Kinky Kasbah, & the Hula Hula Aloha Honolulu Beach Party (see the poster gallery) & we're always wracking our brains for new ideas.
& you (used to) get in cheaper if you've made a visible attempt to dress with style!It's glamorous as HELL!!
