This project came about from some of the horror stories we heard from benefits claimants, and how the system of benefits here in the UK invariably cannot at present cater fully for people with ME. Such are the stories of these claimants, the disbelief of how some claims have been handled, and the obvious stress and thus worsening of ME symptoms this has caused, it soon came apparent that greater action than simply helping claimants getting their entitled benefits was needed. Along with the BRAME cause, of which one of it's aims is to raise awareness of ME and all the problems it causes, this gave the joint  causes a good platform to do greater things......
