Richard Horsman has more than 20 years' experience as a radio journalist, producer and talk show presenter in West Yorkshire - five as news editor at The Pulse,  the commercial station based in Bradford, and two as a consultant to Real Radio (Yorkshire) where he set up the station's media school.

He's a board member of the Broadcast Journalism Training Council and is Senior Lecturer in Broadcast Journalism at Leeds Trinity & All Saints.

In the UK he works extensively as a freelance trainer in media relations with a wide range of public, private and voluntary sector clients including police, politicians, health professionals, charities, local authorities and education providers ... more exotic bookings have included antique dealers and a firm of funeral directors

In Europe he's worked with the King Baudouin Foundation to help improve inter-ethnic relations in Central and Southern Europe. His work with this organisation has taken him to Estonia, Bulgaria and Croatia.
