I read books principally to escape, as we all do in some shape or form, I suppose.
This page, therefore, lists my favourite authors and reviews of books that I've read at least once and in most cases many times.
They have all given me much pleasure and, sometimes, solace or even direction.

You'll also notice that I've put the ISBN number at the bottom of the review. This is for the benefit of those who can't buy but would like to get the book out from a library.
