RAF 60ft PINNACE.
WWII Royal Air Force Rescue Pinnace.
Our hull of the 60ft.General Service Pinnace gives you the oppertunity to build a model of one of these long range service launches, a very capable and practicable small launch that saw service well after WWII for which they were designed by Groves & Gutteridge in 1936. No.40, the subject of our plan was built by Phillipd of Dartmouth in 1939, these launches were general workhorses for the RAF covering duties from flare path control, seaplane tenders, hospital boats & Air Sea Rescue Launches.
Our nicely moulded hull has porthole positions, deck adge line and exhaust port positions all moulded in, perfect for R/C with twin or even triple screw drive, plans are by JOHN PRITCHARD and come from Nexus, drawn full-size they make building a good scale model within the reach of even the first time builder.
