Formed in 1986, this stylish ensemble of highly-experienced solo, ensemble and orchestral musicians is adept at lifting spirits with a delightful repertoire of classical and lighter music. They offer a range of accessible and well-balanced programmes for concert hall or music room, corporate functions and various private receptions. Arundo have performed at the International Clarinet Congress in Belgium, and also at the Guildford, Chelmsford and St. Albans festivals. They give regular foyer recitals at London's South Bank and Barbican Centres, and play at the Victoria & Albert Museum for Friends' evenings. They also play for The National Trust and English Heritage at various castles and stately homes.

Arundo celebrated ten years of performing together with a recital at Luton Hoo (2nd March 1997) and a broadcast for Classic FM is planned. Many of the musical arrangements played by Arundo are of their own devising, while composers such as the late Ruth Gipps, plus Anthony Leach and Gordon Lewin, have written for them.
