David was President of the Royal College of Organists, London (2009-10), ________________________________________________________________________________________________
was an enthusiastic supporter and loyal friend who wrote generously-worded references for me over many years.
His tragic death, at the age of sixty-three, is mourned deeply by many who owe him so much.
a respected composer (Banks) and author of a widely-used organ tutor (Novello),
and an internationally-acclaimed recording and concert organist.
David was Visiting Professor of Organ at the University of Oxford, the Royal Academy of Music and the University of Cambridge
and was formerly Guest Professor at the Royal Danish Academy of Music.
