Organ Repertoire
Julie Ainscough has received critical acclaim for her performances of organ music from the late Renaissance and the Baroque eras, and has a particular affinity with the music of the Spanish, French and North German schools. She is also highly-reputed as a performer of organ music by the major French Romantic and Twentieth Century composers. (c. 1325, which, though not an exclusively-musical document, does contain some of the earliest known pieces for keyboard instruments) and the RENAISSANCE & BAROQUE MUSIC:
She performs - from the late Renaissance and on throughout the Baroque era - a broad swathe of music from several countries, some of it derived from the major collected sources (e.g. Fitzwilliam, Mulliner, Martin y Coll and so on) and published in such well-known editions as Faber Early Organ Music, Oxford Early Spanish Keyboard Music, Oxford Early English Organ Music, Schott Liber Organi et alia.
