AFC Wimbledon Youth B U16s - History

AFC Wimbledon Youth B U16s: The majority of the present squad originate from the highly-successful Cheam Town, whom under the management of Paul Braben won 7 League Championships, 6 League Cups, 2 County Cups & 1 Inter-league Championship. Cheam Town were founded in 1997 and merged with AFC Wimbledon at the start of the 2005/6 season. Since then they have won another league championship, and this season they eliminated the County Cup holders, Sutton United, from this competition.

   In the 6 years of playing in the West Surrey Youth Football League, Cheam Town have managed to win the:

    Only Halliford Colts U8s league champions and Bookham Colts U11s Surrey Cup winners have prevented Cheam from making a clean sweep in those 6 years.
