This is a picture of Gabrielle Jean Elisa THOMPSON (Nee VAUSSOUÉ).  It shows Gabrielle my grandmother holding my father Noel Richard THOMPSON  taken about 1924/1925.

Gabrielle was born in Paris on 13th February 1901, her father was Louis Henri VAUSSOUÉ born about 1872 and died Paris 26th October 1956, his address at that time was 19, rue Godefroy, Cavaignac, Paris.

RECENT DEVELOPMENTS :-

After many months of waiting for replies to advertisement's in English & French on the Internet, I received information that there may be some VAUSSOUÉ's in Paris, I wrote letters to several  in the Paris area.

On 14th November 1998 I received a telephone call from previously unknown living relatives in the Paris area.
