BM5 coil pictures
The BM5 coil was going to be a driver coil for a magnifer setup but it was not to be, the coil uses the new base unit built for the BM3 coil and is powered by our 15kVA pole pig.
As you can see from this picture the coil is flashing over from the top turn to the tap point & the break out on the right is hiting the strike rail.
When the coil did output it was quite impressive until the very large surface flash over happened.
