This
page contains links to web site which I think are well done, or show
products which are well presented. Some are for toiletries; some are
not. A
web site is well done when it just makes you want to buy something
RIGHT NOW, and then makes it disarmingly easy to do so. I have no
particular preference for any
type of packaging - incredibly elaborate and baroque can be beautiful
or ugly, and so can minimnalist. Successful products find a formula for
packaging which is instantly recognisable and stick to it with a will
of iron.

This is a
web site for a glass artist. It is an extremely good example of
how to show off your work
with a
minimum of fuss but maximum of information. Clever without being tricky
- I could look at it for hours.
Ashes and Snow
A
web site for a travelling art exhbinition which is in itself a piece of
art. If this is your sort of thing, you could be in here for
DAYS just exploring.

Hair care products. A
fun site that doesn't get on your nerves.

Alima
One of the best natural cosmetics sites. The packaging reflects
their principles, and the text is refreshingly free of
of the usual natural baloney. It all still feels elegant rather
than cheap and cheerful.
