We met by Nuffield Church before setting
off. Quite near the start of the hike we were harassed by some little dog,
but it just seemed to bark and kept to the opposite side of the fence from us.
The weather was a bit grey and the mud was definitely brown, but it was good
to walk off the Christmas dinner. And we had to remember that unless everyone
was having us on, there was a pub somewhere on the walk. I spent quite a while
deciding which path we were supposed to be following, but luckily I eventually
chose the right path.
But after over an hour the sun had finally come out
and we arrived at the King William pub where we had a drink and something to
eat, although sadly they didn't serve rolls. Afterwards we got back on the
muddy paths, but the walk back wasn't as long. During the walk the dogs seemed
to have a habit of rolling in water, mud and cow pats and then running past
you.
Yet again it was an enjoyable walk (even if it was really
muddy!), although there were some problems with it: Mud

and Another type of mud that you tend to find in the country
