About the Club

Cambridge International Club was founded in 1932 with the aim of promoting friendship between people of all nations.

We are non-political, non-religious, non-profit making and open to all ages. So if you are studying English at one of the language schools, studying anything at one of the Universities, working here, just passing through or if you have lived here all you life you are most welcome to join us.

We organise a full programme of regular and one off social events in and around Cambridge throughout the year details of which are given on our other pages.

Membership

Membership costs £7 for a year (£2.00 for three months).
Visitors and non-members are welcome at all events, but will be asked to pay an additional 50 pence at any event where there is a charge.

Fridays from 8.00pm. Sauna

Most  Friday evenings, around 8pm, Pat & Rachel invite you to join them in their Sauna,  or just come for a drink & chat, at 138 Milton Road. Give them a ring on 01223 364557 around 6pm to to check that  they’ll be at home. £1 (members 50p)

INTERNATIONAL FOLK DANCING

Dancing is a great way to get to know people (as well as being enjoyable in its own right). We do traditional dances from Europe and some from further afield. So if you looking for a change from disco or something different from ballroom or barn dances then come and join us. All welcome.

Beginners welcome. No partners needed.

Where
In the Gibson Hall, St Columba's Church Halls, Downing Place (off Downing Street), Cambridge.
(Not to be confused with the University Ballroom dancers who meet in the main hall).

When
Every Monday throughout the year except Bank Holidays and over Christmas. 8:30-10:00.
