Thursday 6th September, The Hakon Hakonsson Lecture for Viking Festival Week : "The Vikings and Christianity ? - What the 'Papar Project' can tell us" by Barbara E. Crawford, University of St. Andrews, (in the Vikingar Auditorium at Barrfields, Largs, at 8 pm, Admission by donation)

Tuesday 16th October, (joint meeting with Largs and North Ayrshire Family History Society (in Dunn Memorial Hall at 7.30 pm)

Monday 7nd April, Marine Section AGM, followed by a talk by the Chairman of the Marine Section

Monday 21st April, Historical Society and Museum Trust AGMs - following the AGMs, Neil Stuart, LDHS Committee member, will show film "Sir Thomas Brisbane"
