Sasa Veitchii. A very large leaved plant, the leaves of which die back white towards autumn to giving it a striking variegated appearance. Grows to around 1.5 metres.
Fargesia Murieliae Simba. A bushy plant with masses of small leaves which layer themselves as the plant progresses on low arching branches. Grows up to 2 metres.
Phyllostachys Viridiglaucescens. A tall plant with green calms and two to three branches at each node. Grows to around 4 metres. The young shoots have bristles evenly spaced around the emerging leaf. Very virilent species.
Chusquea Culeou. (Juvenile specimen) A Chillian species with thick yellow-green culms, producing clusters of small leafy branches. Grows up to 4 Metres.
