In the Company of Angels

If I am the first to go I will wait for you in the place Where the crowns of Angels glow
If I go first because I lost the fight I will be waiting Where the tunnel opens into light
If I am the first one there I will await you in lush meadows Where heady perfume fills the air
If I go first and leave you lonely We will meet again in paradise In our loved ones company
If I am the first to go, allay your fears I will be waiting in the place Where there are no more tears
If I go before you and we must part I will wait for you in heaven Where sweet music soothes the heart
If I am first to go we will meet again In a far better place than this Where God has banished pain
If I go first through the eternal door You will find me with the angels Where suffering is no more
If I am first to go by days or years You will find me waiting there Far beyond this vale of tears.

Angel Friend

I am your Angel and I am here to be your companion and your friend.
All I desire is to be your ray of hope, the sunshine in your life.
For you are my shining star and my greatest wish is to uplift your heart into the heart of the Angels.
Let me watch over you, guard you and protect you.
With me at your side you are safe; let me comfort you, cherish you, watch over you in healing kindness.
Loving and caring, I am always with you - know this, you are never alone.
Tuck me into sleep with you on dreams of clouds and we will visit magic kingdoms together.
Come, let me hold your hand in mine for I am always by your side.
Wondrous and golden, we the Angels are messengers of goodness, gentleness and courage.
Let us give you our strength and our joy.
All you need do is ask for our assistance, and you will know our presence.
Listen closely, and you will hear my voice, small and quiet like a distant babbling brook.
Listen even closer and my voice will become clearer and clearer to you.
I am your Guardian Angel ready to serve you.
For I am harmony, I am peace; I am your special Angel friend.

The Light in You

I've seen the light and it's in you ... in everything you are and in everything you do.
It's a perfect light that shines for all to see; in fact it shines so brightly, it's pierced the heart of me.
The light is from a friend, it's a light that keeps me warm;
it lets me know how loved I am and keeps me safe from harm.
FOR YOU I AM THANKFUL in so very many ways, and you lift up my spirits each and every day.
To know that you are there for me makes me feel alive; it is your friendship's light upon which my own love thrives.
Though 'thank you' isn't good enough, they're the only words I know, to say your light of friendship gives my world its glow.
It's the simple things in life that are truly unforgettable

An Angels Healing Hands

These hands that you see every day of your life are the tools that you take,
through tears, love and strife, without them how would you show that you care,
how could you brush a tear away?
How would you stroke your lovers brow, you could not hold hands, you would not know how.
They show all the love that you hold in your heart and wave when you have to part.
They show all the joy in the world that we know, they hug close a child when they have to go,
Never deny that you want someone near, hold everything close that is dear.
Give them their freedom see what they do, give them their space let them play,
Look at the hands of a young child, no lines of experience,
Now you can see how you've lived, it’s your time to go.
Guiding you, guarding you giving you strength, almost watching, almost touching, giving you your life's length.
In tune with your mind, your future, your past, you have earned this friendship first and last.
My body destroyed, my soul just awakening, there by my side for the taking.
You held me with heartbeats your soul with mine, goodbye to life~ now ours are entwined.
Sometimes we find the soul mates we lack, almost too late but always intact.
When I needed you most to show me the way in the dark, you where there like a beacon to help me depart.
It had to be you no one else would have done.
So I'm here now forever for you and don’t cry when I’m gone

Prayer for Humanity

For those who live with suffering, I ask for relief
For those who live with sorrow, I ask for upliftment
For those who live with terror, I ask for serenity
For those who live without love, I ask for it in abundance
For those who live with abuse, I ask for respect
For those who live with guilt, I ask for release
For those who live with hatred, I ask for love
For those who live with tears, I ask for laughter
For those who live with darkness, I ask for sunshine
For those who live with disability, I ask for strength
For those who live with addiction, I ask for the power to overcome
For those who live with greed, I ask for generosity
For those who live with confusion, I ask for understanding
For those who live with violence, I ask for peace and tranquility
For those who live with illness, I ask for vitality and strength
For those who live with poverty, I ask for compassion
For those who live with hunger, I ask for sustenance
For those who live with cruelty, I ask for kindness
For those who live with loneliness, I ask for caring friends
For those who live with ignorance, I ask for education
For those who live with regret, I ask that they learn and move on
For those who live with depression, I ask for inspiration
For those who “don’t fit in”, I ask for acceptance
For those who live without faith, I ask for sympathy
For those who nurture children, I ask for the understanding
that they have the future of our World in their hands.

The Morning Prayer (to be said on waking)

Great Spirit, Please give me the strength and energy to do all the jobs I need to do today.
Let me do them all in pleasure and not think of any of them as a 'chore'.
And, at the end of the day, let me sleep soundly in my bed,
to renew my enegy for the day ahead.

And now on a lighter note, with apologies to Rudyard Kipling...

If you can start the day without caffeine or pep pills,
If you can be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains,
If you can resist complaining and boring people with your troubles,
If you can eat the same food everyday and be grateful for it,
If you can understand when loved ones are too busy to give you time,
If you can overlook when people take things out on you
when, through no fault of yours, something goes wrong,
If you can take criticism and blame without resentment,
If you can face the world without lies and deceit,
If you can conquer tension without medical help,
If you can relax without alcohol,
If you can sleep without the aid of drugs,
If you can do all these things...
Then you are probably the family dog!

And Finally...

If you cannot see good in a person then you are simply not looking hard enough.
