Because we're not owned by a major corporation - and because we were set up by musicians, for musicians - we try to keep our prices as low as we possibly can.  There are no complicated systems for peak, off-peak, overnight or weekend rates.  We have a simple formula - £20 per hour at all times, BUT record for 7 hours* or more and this comes down to £15 per hour!

*( you don't need to use your time up in one go!  You can split it up over 2 or more sessions - as long as your total time is 7 or more hours)

Studio 64 operates a 24-Track Analogue Recording Studio with the superb Soundcraft Series 760 2" Tape Recorder at its heart.  This classic machine has been the workhorse of many a professional studio for the last twenty years or more.   Its analogue format means that the 760 is ideal for recording a range of applications from spoken word through to acoustic instruments and big, big guitar sounds!
Our main mixing console is the Spirit Studio 32:8:2 by Soundcraft - an excellent desk possessing a multitude of features for track-laying, mixdown and overdubbing.
