Morris Gregory

Having seen a copy of David Doubilet's "Light in the Sea", I was inspired to take up underwater photography to see what results I could achieve.
Together with my wife Sally, I obtained my entry level scuba diving qualification in 1991 and whilst pursuing more advance qualifications, I began to purchase the necessary photo equipment.

Equipment
Morris diving I was already familiar with photographic techniques having been a keen amateur photographer for most of my life. However, I soon discovered that taking photographs underwater brought with it a number of difficulties not encountered on land. I persevered and the photographs shown here are representative of what I have produced over the last ten years or so.

Hints & Tips

Initially, I did my own printing using standard darkroom techniques. For the last 6 years or so, I have used digital technology to print the results of my photography and in the last couple of years I have completed the move to digital purchasing a Nikon D70 and housing.
