Appalachian Dulcimer

Early settlers to the USA brought this instrument with them from Northern

Europe where similar forms existed. The Appalachian (Mountain) Dulcimer is probably

most at home accompanying folk-song. Early Joni Mitchell recordings featured

some of Joni`s songs with Appalachian accompaniment.
