Lyre

This unusual instrument is looselybased on the Norwegian Kantle but strung

the other way round, with the bass strings played by the thumb and the rest picked.

The 22 strings, which can all be played with the right handgive 3 octaves.

The instrument is generally tuned in C but could be tuned to other keys.
