Matt Developments has more than one product!
Thank you, all those people who have supported me by buying a window. For those who have not thought about buying a window from Matt Developments before let me wet your appetite a little with a list of the latest things you can have in your roof:
1. A window - heated or unheated. The design now conceals the rubber inside the metal frame that holds the glass. The main advantage is that this window can be used in a roof that goes down without unzipping. Also, a piece of the rubber is left out at the top of the glass to create a vent to demist the very top of the glass and to prevent pressurisation of the top when the windows are up and the heater is on.
2. A kit that you can combine with this window to enable the roof to go down without unzipping. Both the kit and the window can be supplied with an instructional video for DIY fitting.
3. A gas strut that can be put into a standard roof to help you lift it up from the driver's seat. This will go into the Mk1 or Mk2. If you have a Mk1, you might like to combine it with a glass back window and the kit to allow it to go down without unzipping. This combination would give you a roof that has a glass back window that can go down without unzipping (although you can unzip it if you like) and can be lifted up while still in the driver's seat.
