An old-school Soul/R&B big band, The Directors features a variable line-up around a core of permanent members and includes a hot 3-piece horn section - "The Brass'Oles", directed by saxophonist Mark Picken.

The band's set is regularly updated with new songs, but will continue to be a mixture of rhythm'n'blues, soul and contemporary rock, with the emphasis on danceability and a party atmosphere.
