Stund! was formed in 1995 from a core of highly experienced musicians with the intention of breaking the "covers band" mould by performing material from outside the standard repertoire, which would be technically challenging to us as musicians, while remaining accessible to the mainstream audience. A diverse range of artists are covered, including David Bowie, Steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac, Peter Gabriel etc., alongside more contemporary material from the likes of Texas, Reef, Ocean Colour Scene and Robbie Williams. New material is being added constantly. The set also usually includes one or two original songs. The band's live performances combine immaculate musicianship with an infectious sense of fun.
