Personal Profile

I trained in London, I completed the required three year training in 1995, I am now fully qualified and insured to teach the Alexander Technique.

I am a member of the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique which is the internationally recognised body which monitors the standards of teaching and training.

I teach from my home in central London. I have worked with a variety of people, all completely unique with different reasons for coming to the Alexander Technique. I worked in a clinic for 14 months, these people found the technique to be of tremendous value, people were recovering from food disorders, drink and drugs addiction. Most of these people were in really bad shape. I have some of their personal statements relating the benefits received.

I also worked for a year at a multidiscipline clinic alongside a talented team of Doctors, Homeopaths, Osteopaths etc. where we would have weekly meetings and exchange knowledge and protocols.

For 2 years I was teaching classes a Holmes Place (health clubs). This was a rewarding experience. Teaching groups is challenging, enjoyable. Hearing some of their feedback is what inspires me. And seeing the physical and mental changes they have made is tremendous.

Also worked with staff and patients at the BUPA Kensington nursing home W11

I taught at the Rose Bruford College (teaching drama students the Alexander technique and voice preparation)

I have been teaching at The Life Centre for two years, this is one of London's leading therapy and yoga centres in the heart of Notting Hill W8

I feel privileged to be part of the Notting Hill Community teaching the Alexander Technique

I was born in Notting Hill and have always lived here, its a special place which has given me so much and made me a richer person.

I feel teaching in Notting Hill is a small way of putting something back into the community, I find this work immensely rewarding and truly love what I do
