I've had lots of emails asking how to make these 3D pictures.

So this section is a guide to making them using both PaintShop Pro

and Adobe Photoshop.

• PaintShop Pro

• It is easy to do the 3D effect with Paintshop Pro

1. First of all you open the image you wish to use.

2. Then you go to Image, Channels and Splitting. Three windows will open, one for each colour red, blue and green.

3. Go to the red window and choose Selections and Select All. Select the mover (hand) and place it over the picture then hold the right mouse button down and drag the image to the left for a couple of millimetres, goto the Selections menu once more and then Select None.

4. Now go to the green window and do the same as with the except you need to move the picture to the right.

5. Finally go to Image, Channels and Combining.

• Adobe Photoshop

1. Open the image you wish to use.

2. Goto the Windows menu and Show Channels (see figure 1).

3. Select the red channel and then the move tool.

4. Now hold down shift and drag the image to the right a couple of millimeters.

5. Repeat the last two steps but with the green channel and move it to the left.
