Erith

With vision, Erith can be seen as a place for the future.

Many things are happening at this time. The re-vamping of the Town centre is underway and with just the removal of the car park ramp it is already looking better. The Western Gateway project is moving into the planning stages. The new river crossing at Thamesmead will have a dramatic effect, and Crossrail link with London and beyond will no doubt change the face of the town. The hoped for influx of new young families with their young ideas and young social needs will change the ethos and re-invent Erith as a vibrant riverside town that is attractive to visitors and pleasant to be in. The Civic Society and Town Forum will be involved in partnership with Bexley Council presenting the views of the people, for after all it is the people that pay the piper.
