Its main drawback is that you have to enter credit card details before you submit the request. It will not go over your maximum price but it still leaves you feeling there may have been something better, also it may route you via somewhere obscure to get the cost down which may not have been what you were after.

Cheapflights.com No introduction needed, an excellent source for cheap flights. They also provide links to accomodation and car hire for your flight destination.
