WHAT IT DOES:  The Data Link scheme provides the emergency services (ambulance, fire, police) with important information about the resident(s) of the house if they are unable to communicate this themselves i.e. medication, allergies, doctor & next of kin contact details.

HOW IT WORKS:  A sticker on the inside of the front door alerts the services to look in the kitchen for a matching fridge sticker. 
In the fridge is a labelled container (a recycled film cartridge) with a data sheet inside which the resident fills in.
