FINAL WEEK
Children's Art
To May 7

This is an exhibition of the work of
children from nine local
primary schools who entered a competition organised by The Rotary Club
of Nantwich.
The paintings were judged
by Estella Scholes, a local artist, and members of the Rotary club.
Estella commented: "The
colourful work ranged from highly individual pieces to fascinating
examples from class projects. It was difficult to select the winners
from this visual feast." The standard of the artwork was regarded as
generally high and, in some instances, quite exceptional.

Roman coins on show
THERE is a temporary exhibition of Roman
coins on display in the main gallery of the Museum. They were
discovered by Reg Baker, a keen metal detectorist, who kindly
donated his share of the money he was due for the find so that the
Museum could purchase it at half price.
