  Trust membership

  and the Patrons scheme

WHILE receiving public funding, the museum relies heavily on the support of its patrons, Trust members and voluntary workers.

If you would like to become a supporter of the museum you can have the opportunity to get more involved with the work of the "home of the town's history." As a Nantwich Museum Trust Ltd member you will know you are helping to support a local museum which is being run by and for the people of Nantwich and the surrounding area, as well as for tourists.

What do you get as a member of the Trust?

  • You will be invited to previews of the Millennium Gallery exhibitions.

  • You will receive two editions a year of the Museum's Newsletter, which is full of articles on local history.

  • You can enjoy a programme of talks and activities (including visits to other museums and other venues).

  • You will be able to use the Joseph Heler room for a group of your friends to enjoy your hobby.

  • You will have the chance to take part in decision-making about how the museum is run by attending the annual general meeting of Nantwich Museum Trust Ltd.

Ask for a form (see the Contacts page on this website) and sign up as a member of the Trust.

Annual membership costs £10 for individuals, £15 for families - or you can become a life member for one payment of £100.

We can boost your membership payment by reclaiming tax through the Gift Aid scheme so that an individual's subscription of £10, for instance, would be worth £12.80 to us. If you are paying UK Income Tax please consider this option. It will not cost you a penny.

lWE also welcome and appreciate sponsorship from local businesses. Companies who would like to be a Patron of the museum should contact the Curator for details. (See Contacts page).

lPERHAPS you would like to be even more actively involved in the running of the Museum. We are always pleased to welcome Volunteers for a hands-on approach to our work. See this page for more details.
