  Wybunbury

A village story

THE story of the village of Wybunbury, near to Nantwich, and its 18 townships is told in the local history book, "Wybunbury."

Under the guidance of Research Organiser and Editor, Frank A. Latham, the Local History Group produced the words and pictures that pack this book. There are maps and a poem about the Leaning Tower of Wybunbury at the former parish church, and much more.

Vicars, parish councils, war memorials, local farms and notable houses all come into the research that went into producing the book.

The cover of the book (right) is a drawing entitled "Wigbeorn's Stronghold."

The book is available in hardback or softback - the museum has the latter priced at £17.50.
