Workshops on a range of media

For Newbury Art Group members, a programme of one day workshops runs through the year on a variety of topics and media.  They are held at local venues and are very good value.  The focus is to get some tuition and experiment whilst learning some new techniques.

Throughout the years we have had very inspirational tutors that are open and happy to share their knowledge.

Amongst them we count Howard Birchmore on acrylics, Soraya French on pastels and mixed media, Arran Miles on life drawing, and Charles Mackinnon on creating working sketches with an exciting composition.

Watercolour workshops have been led by Claire Warner (a Newbury Art Group member), Rosemary Miller, Wendy Jelbert and Colin Allbrook

We have also tried papermaking with a Brighton artist, Nicola Jackson, monoprinting with Catriona Jardine Brown and silkscreen printing with Cipriano Martinez.
