Information about the Society
Membership
Fees for '00/'01 are:
Full Membership - £13, Senior Citizens - £11, Non Competing Partners - £9,
Under 18yrs. - £5.
Friday night
admission fee of £1.00 on the door.
Prospective
members
may attend two meetings – no obligation whatever then subscriptions become due.
Field Trips
During the course of the year there are
trips held for the members, including summer evening walks and Day Coach
outings.
Annual Exhibition
Each year the Society holds an Annual
Exhibition for its members, this is a great chance for the members to show off
their work to the local community.
There are also Trophies and Certificates to be won for the best prints or
slides entered in various catergries.
Society Facilities
The Society has Projectors, 35mm and
6x6cm, Screens, Tungsten and Electronic lighting for studio work.
There is no Darkroom on the premises but presonal tuition is given by some of
the more experienced members at their homes on black/white or colour developing
and printing.
