South Malling Church is a friendly church with a fairly informal style of worship. It follows the Common Worship liturgy, with a mixture of modern and traditional hymns and songs. A music group plays with the organ at the main services.

The Sunday service is at 10 am. The normal pattern each month is:

1st Sunday: Family Service
2nd Sunday: Holy Communion
3rd Sunday: Morning Prayer
4th (and 5th) Sunday: Holy Communion

A Sunday School is held during the morning service and there are clubs for children and young people, including a strong table tennis team.

The church is located on Church Lane, on the edge of Lewes, and has a semi-rural setting. It was rebuilt around 1626 and is grade II* listed.
