NEWSLETTER MARCH 2008

Dear Parents,

What dreadful weather this week and lively pupils due to missing their break-time activities!  However we have set up a puzzle/games corner in the hall and this is proving popular.

Speech and drama results are on the notice board, with ten pupils receiving no less than four first places, two second places and four third places and Championship runner up. Well done!

Events this term include a slumber night on Saturday April 5th. Forms will go out soon. Our very popular sponsored walk will take place as soon as we come back to school after the April holiday. Forms will be issued next week.

At the meeting we looked at the questionnaires returned from parents and discussed the events ticked and when we could organise these. Coffee mornings, quiz night and wine tasting are most popular at the moment.

We discussed work experience for GCSE pupils and interesting talks for the whole school from visitors. These are now being arranged.

Easter

The short Easter break is from 21^st to 24^th March inclusive. We hope you all have a Happy Easter! Our end of term will be Friday 4th April.
