Here we teach force sensitive individuals the ways of the force. It is here where we train the new generation of Jedi Knights.

For over a thousand generations the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic, and the custodians of the galaxy.

The Jedi Knight Order was almost completely wiped out by Senator Palpatine with the aid of Darth Vader. However the remnants of our order contrived to create a champion for the light. This champion was Luke Skywalker who became a Jedi Knight and in doing so overthrew the Emperor.

He is the founder of this Academy. He did so in the hopes of again bringing about peace to the galaxy and another Golden Age of Civilisation with the Jedi Order once again protecting it. We are the defenders of the New Republic.

To join our Order you must have the deepest commitment and great patience. Boldness and courage is welcome but as the Great Master Arca once said

As a Jedi in training and, eventually, as a Jedi Knight you must not let Anger, Fear and Aggression become dominant in you. For as Master Yoda explained to Master Skywalker

My name is Nicky Wan, a Jedi Knight. My callsign is Sunrider, in honour of Nomi and Vima Sunrider two of the greatest Jedi of the Old Republic. I like you am also in training, we always are, but Master Skywalker has given me the job of organising the new recruits.
