I have been writing full-time for over 20 years now (gosh, that makes me feel old!) In that time I have had children's and adults' short stories, humorous articles and features published in a wide variety of magazines and have won prizes in a number of writing competitions. |

I have 2 books in print (Live & Work in Scotland and Buying a House in Scotland). |

- I am a member of the Society of Authors.
- I have many years expereince as a Creative Writing tutor, teaching others how to write successfully for publication.
- I have a Master of Arts degree in English Literary Research and was for a time a lecturer in English Language and Literature at the University of Central Lancashire.

Amongst other projects I have ghost-written a privately-printed autobiography, and a novel, and have been involved in organising and judging writing competitions. I have run creative writing classes and a writers' circle in my local area.
I have written about the beauties and attractions of Scotland for a number of tourism-based publications and websites.
I have edited other writers' work, both full-length and shorter pieces, prior to publication.
