From the 1st of April 2003, The parish of Bressingham just got a lot bigger.
Approximately 45 Households were transferred from the parish of Roydon, to that
of Bressingham
The new boundary
leaves the old, one field back, behind the 'Hollies' in Common
Road. It then passes behind the fields at the back of all the properties in
Common Road, and Bressingham
Road, coming out alongside property number one. Then along
Bressingham Road towards Roydon and turns right just before
the Pumping Station, following a water course due south, meeting the A1066.
It then turns west up the A1066 to the junction with Samsons Lane,
where it joins the old boundary.
This means, that all the properties around Pillarbox Corner, and down
Bressingham Road to No 2 Rose
Villa, plus all those on the north side of the A1066 west from Blue Pump Farm
are now part of
Bressingham
The 2003 Remembrance Service was held at the Bressingham War Memorial
