The Footpaths of Bressingham & Fersfield, including some in neighbouring Roydon
IMPORTANT NEWS
The footpath from Green Tyles in Common Rd., to Darrow Lane is closed due to a
removed footbridge
The Playing fields path is difficult to transverse as four bar fences have
been placed across it.
A number of field edges in Bressingham, which have been left fallow, have been
designated Premissive Footpaths/Bridleways.
Ref Nos 28/100/0032
Maps have been placed at the various entry points for information
I've recently started to follow some of the local footpaths using the map
produced by Norfolk C.C.,
and the Countryside Agency, and on sale at the Village Shop at a low price.
It's a nice change
to see the village from a different perspective. Most of the paths seem to be
well
marked.
The majority of the paths were cut in May, and it is now a lot easier to find
your way, especially those that cross fields
Notes:
1) Path 8 (Village Shop) has now been diverted at it's southern End
Starting 1st Sept 2004
2) Samsons Lane now appears to be used as a footpath, and has footpath signs.
3) The path from Darrow Lane, due east, loses it's signs at the 'T'
junction, and where it joins Snow Street
