From time to time we have kittens available for sale in a wide variety of colours.

The kittens shown below have now been sold. Their mother is Gr. Ch Hartscoon Ayla of Beardwood and their father is Lynxelot Raindancer. They were born on 8th February 2008 and both parents are negative for the HCM gene.

Our kittens are usually born in either the living room or the computer room. They stay in a large open top pen until they are on solid food. As they are usually litter trained by this time, they then have the run of the room and as their confidence grows they explore the whole house. They become used to all our older cats, our grand children and lots of other visitors.

They get lots of love and attention and by the time they are ready to go to their new homes at thirteen weeks old, they are happy, confident kittens well able to adjust to their new surroundings.

Our main concern is that they go to loving permanent homes, where they will be thoroughly "ruined"!!

Our queens only have one litter each per year. All our queens are blood tested for FeLV and  FIV before being mated. Our breeding cats have also been DNA tested for the HCM MyBPC mutation and are negative.

We are often asked how big the kittens will grow. The picture below is of Beardwood Blackthorn at the age of 17 months. He weighs almost 20 lbs and to give some idea of his size, our daughter Elizabeth, who is holding him, is 5'8'' tall.
