'Cathedral - A Mystery Play' was written by
James Dimelow and is his first stage play.
James lives and works in Norwich, a two
Cathedral city, located in the heart of East Anglia, England. His hobbies include reading,
listening to music, going to the theatre and the cinema. He is also a frequent visitor to
the UEA's Sainsbury Centre, Norwich Arts Centre and The King of Hearts.
James is a member of Playwrights East, who meet regularly in Norwich, which is
organised through the acclaimed theatre company Eastern
Angles. He is also a regular attendant of Cafe
Writers, who meet at one of the city's most high profile and popular venues, The Forum. James also belongs to the long
established Norwich Writers' Circle who
meet fortnightly at the city's Assembly
House.
During Summer 2002 James took part in a Script & Screen Writing course at the University of East Anglia. He has also completed a Stage
Management course through the city's Theatre
Royal.
James has now completed his second and third full length stage plays, respectively
entitled 'Fall & Rise' and 'Avenue' - he is currently writing his fourth
play. James is also looking for a theatre company to
produce 'Cathedral' featuring it's timeless plot.
James has written a short play for New York's Luminous Group Theatre Company.
