988-999 MAREDUDD AB OWAIN King of Deheubarth, King of Gwynedd (from 986) who died in 999 having had issue: 1. Cadwallon who died in 992 2. Angharad who married 1st LLYWELYN AP SEISYLL who became King of Deheubarth in 999 and died in 1023, leaving a son. He was the son of Seisyll and Prawst, daughter of Elise ab Anarawd and became ruler of all Wales. She remarried a non-royal noble Cynfyn ap Gwerstan from Powys and had further issue: 2.1 GRUFFYDD AP LLYWELYN king of Deheubarth, Powys and Gwynedd 2.2 Meilyr, who died 1081. 2.3 Gwyladus, married to Rhys ap Tewdwr, King of Deheubarth and had issue. He was killed in April 1093 2.4 Sioned who married Tudor 'Walensis' Lord of Whittlington, Chirk, Maelor Cymraeg and Nantheudwy and had issue. 1044-1063 GRUFFYDD AP LLYWELYN king of Deheubarth, Powys and Gwynedd (1039) and by 1055 he had become KING OF ALL WALES. He married in 1056 Ealdgyth, a Lady from Mercia the daughter of Aelfgar Earl of Mercia and thus granddaughter of Leofric of Mercia and his wife Godgifu known to history as Lady Godiva. Gruffydd was killed through the treachery of his own men, and left issue, though this is usually ascribed to his wife. 1. Maredudd who died in 1070 2. Idwal who died in 1070 3. Nest who married Osbern Fitz Richard Lord of Richard's Castle and Byton and had issue. He was a kinsman of William the Conqueror, The Norman invader.
