878-909  CADELL AP RHODRI, King of Seisyllwg d. 909, leaving issue:

     2. CLYDOG, joint King of Seisyllwg with his brother.

909-950 HYWEL DDA (the Good), King of All Wales, succeeded as King of Dyfed by right of marriage in about 904.  King of Seisyllwg 909, King of Gwynedd 942, did homage to King Edward the Elder 918 and to King Athelstan 926, went on a pilgrimage to Rome 928, was the only Welsh ruler to mint his own coinage of silver pennies.  He married Elen daughter and heiress of Llywarch ap Hyfaidd King of Dyfed, and d 950, leaving issue:

     2. EDWIN Kings of Deheubarth 950-954

     3. OWAIN Kings of Deheubarth 950-988

950-988 OWAIN, Kings of Deheubarth (Seisyllwg and Dyfed) after reigning jointly with this brothers he became sole King.   He married and had issue:

     1. Cadwallon, who died 966.

     2. Einon, killed in a skirmish with the chiefs of Gwent 984, in his fathers lifetime and left issue:

2.21221 Christina who married as his second wife her 1st cousin Owain Gwynedd, King of Gwynedd, and had issue.  He died 28 November 1170.

2.2125 Angharad, who married about 1095, Gruffydd ap Cynan King of Gwynedd and died in 1162, leaving issue.  He died 1137.

988-999 MAREDUDD AB OWAIN King of Deheubarth, King of Gwynedd (from 986) who died in 999 having had issue:

1. Cadwallon who died in 992

2. Angharad who married 1st LLYWELYN AP SEISYLL who became King of Deheubarth in 999 and died in 1023, leaving a son.  He was the son of Seisyll and Prawst, daughter of Elise ab Anarawd and became ruler of all Wales.   She remarried a non-royal noble Cynfyn ap Gwerstan from Powys and had further issue:

2.1 GRUFFYDD AP LLYWELYN king of Deheubarth, Powys and Gwynedd

2.2 Meilyr, who died 1081.

2.3 Gwyladus, married to Rhys ap Tewdwr, King of Deheubarth and had issue.  He was killed in April 1093

2.4 Sioned who married Tudor 'Walensis' Lord of Whittlington, Chirk, Maelor Cymraeg and Nantheudwy and had issue.

1044-1063 GRUFFYDD AP LLYWELYN king of Deheubarth, Powys and Gwynedd (1039) and by 1055 he had become KING OF ALL WALES.  He married in 1056 Ealdgyth, a Lady from Mercia the daughter of Aelfgar Earl of Mercia and thus granddaughter of Leofric of Mercia and his wife Godgifu known to history as Lady Godiva.  Gruffydd was killed through the treachery of his own men, and left issue, though this is usually ascribed to his wife.

3. Nest who married Osbern Fitz Richard Lord of Richard's Castle and Byton and had issue.  He was a kinsman of William the Conqueror, The Norman invader.  They had issue:

     3.1 Agnes or Nest who married the Norman kinsman of the same King, Bernard de Neufmarche.
