2.4215 Samuel Hellard, baptised at Langtoft 21 May 1700.
2.4216 Thomas Hellard, baptised at Langtoft 29 June 1702.
2.4217 Mary Hellard, baptised at Langtoft 16 Feb 1703/4. She died on the 14th March 1797 at the age of 94 years, and was buried at Langtoft on the 16th March 1797. She had married on the 4th June 1728 at Langtoft, Francis Brown. Mary left a Will, but it is fairly unlikely that she had any issue that survived her. She left money to Peter Owston and Charles Parkinson, the last being Margaret's great grandson.
2.4214 MARGARET HELLARD, baptised at Langtoft 20 Jun 1698 and buried there 5 Jan 1778. Married at Langtoft 24 Aug 1731 John Taylor, farmer of Langtoft and Wold Newton, and a great-nephew of Jane Taylor who married Thomas Hellard. He was baptised at Langtoft 8 Mar 1697/8 and died at Sherburn in January 1780 and was buried in Langtoft 27 Jan 1780, the only son of Francis Taylor, Gent., of Langtoft by his first wife Mary Ogle of Kirby Grindalyth (died 1697/8) - probably all Quakers. They had issue:-
2.42141 MARY TAYLOR, Born in 1732 at Thwing. She married in 1758 at Langtoft, Charles Rowbotham a Carpenter from Scarborough.
It seems only one of their two daughters, Margaret Rowbotham may have survived childhood and she was to marry Robert Parkinson in the 1780's. When Mary Hellard Brown died in 1797 she left money to Margaret's son Charles Parkinson, a minor. She may not have had other issue and it was probably this Charles who went on to marry in 1816 Frances Maynard (died 1858) at Flamborough and have children and other descendants at Scarborough. He is described as a wine merchant.
2.42142 SARAH TAYLOR, baptised Wold Newton 12 Feb 1737/8 and buried in Sherburn 1813, She married Peter Owston, a farmer and Carpenter of Langtoft and Sherburn, born at Sherburn in 1740 and buried at Sherburn in 1823. They had with other issue:
2.421421 SAMUEL HELLARD OWSTON of Sherburn. 1776-1846, he married and had issue. For more details see the Owston family history.
