* Co-heiress of the Dacre Lands. 

Elizabeth Dacre and her two sisters had all married Howards of this generation. Her father was Thomas Dacre 4th Baron Dacre (d. 1568) who married Elizabeth Leyburne, who after his death married Thomas 4th Duke of Norfolk.  Thomas Dacre had inherited many of the estates of the Greystock family through his grandmother, Elizabeth Greystock, grandaughter and heiress of Ralph Greystock Baron Greystock.   

** Catherine Knyvett was the daughter of Henry Knyvett of Charlton co. Wilts.  Henry Knyvett was the grandson of Sir Thomas Knyvett and his wife Muriel Howard, daughter of Thomas Howard 2nd Duke of Norfolk, great-grandfather of Thomas Howard 4th Duke of Norfolk.

***Mary Eure was the daughter of Sir William Eure of Malton - here follows a descent from Sir Robert Constable of Flamborough - common ancestor of many people.

1.SIR WILLIAM EURE,  He married MARGARET CONSTABLE, daughter of Sir  ROBERT CONSTABLE and AGNES WENTWORTH. and had issue:

6.SIR RALPH EURE,  3RD LORD EURE was born 1558, and died 1617. He married MARY DAWNAY and had issue:.

7.SIR WILLIAM EURE,  4TH BARON EURE was born 1579, and died 1646. He married LUCY NOEL.

8. MARY EURE, She married SIR WILLIAM HOWARD, , son of PHILIP HOWARD and MARGARET CARRYL. and had issue: See above.
