Constable of Flamborough - North
Cliffe Branch, East Yorkshire.
The family which form part of a cadet branch of the Constable Family based at
Flamborough in East Yorkshire, ancestors of Timothy J Owston. A 'family
reconstruction' was carried out on this family in the Summer of 2001, and this will be
continuing. Further research needs to be done on the family of Etherington in
Driffield and further Wills and Ecclesiastical Cause papers will be consulted.

The
Bigod Family
King to Farmer
A family reconstruction was started on this family, starting in August 2001.
It is interesting as this family descend from a major medieval family and their
blood is widely defused through families that lived in their area. The problem is
that there is not direct proof that Edmund Bygod I of Filey and Scagglethorpe is the son
of Henry Bygod who flourished in the 1450's. Edmund was in possession of his land in
1527 which makes it look likely.
The
Stockill Family
Essentially the family of my mother Agnes May Stockill 1925-1997. The family
are lately based at Brompton near Scarborough but descend from the family at Pockley near
Helmsley. Originally I searched for one Nicholas Stockill and eventually found many.
