Travelling along the main road across Bodmin Moor on the A30 direct from Lands End to Exeter is approximately 124 miles. The cyclists left from the Official Sign Post in the Car Park at the Visitor Centre, Lands End.

The Cyclists sometimes had to divert from the main roads and the mileage varied from the figures given on route maps.
