Day 6 - Friday 7th May 1999 - Moffat to Perth
 

The Cyclists left from right of centre at the bottom of the map, towards the right of centre at the top.

Travelling along the main road from the Borders (Of England and Scotland) through the Central Belt of Scotland on the M74, M80 and M9* direct from Moffat to Perth is approximately 108 miles.

* Motorway

The Cyclists sometimes had to divert from the main roads and the mileage varied from the figures given on route maps.

Moffat to Perth (Dumfries and Galloway/Strathclyde/The Lothians/Fife/Tayside)
 

(The Cyclists diverted to the Business Express Depot, Southfield Industrial Estate, Glenrothes to meet the Press & News Media and let local supporters greet them - see below for a more detailed map of their diversion)

The Cyclists entered the map (below) from extreme left at the bottom of the map, heading towards the extreme right in the middle section, before heading back to the middle at the top.

Travelling along the main road from the Borders (Of England and Scotland) through the Central Belt of Scotland on the M74*, then diverting via the M8*, A90, A92, A912  and returning to the A9 from Moffat to Edinburgh to Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes and on to Perth is approximately 132 miles.

  Please Note : A planned stop at Kirkcaldy Ice Arena was cancelled
