First taste of success as a Charlton fan: Narrowly missing promotion and finishing third behind Derby and Palace in season 68/69.
Most Memorable moment: Sasa's final save at Wembley. Disbelief followed by shock resulting in uncontrollable hysteria.
Biggest Disappointment: Not watching a game with my grandfather. He was a supporter in the glory years of the 30’s and 40’s
Any Charlton related story: having purchased a season ticket with my mate Andy carrier for season 69/70, we proceeded to experience one of our typical struggling campaigns. With less than 10 games remaining, we were losing 5-0 at home to Leicester and facing relegation. Andy carrier left early and transferred allegiance to West Ham. I stayed loyal to the bitter end and we ultimately survived the drop by one place. There follows a lifetime of agony and ecstasy !!!
